Liberty's SJ10A is a SumpJet SJ10-Series water-powered back-up sump pump. Protects a basement during a power outage or main pump failure — requires no electricity, running instead off municipal water pressure (20-100 PSI inlet supply) through a 3/4" SharkBite fitting that accepts PEX, copper, or CTS CPVC line, removing about 2 gallons of sump water per gallon of supply water used (at 5' lift). Fully assembled, PVC construction, with a built-in check valve and screen with a removable foot valve at the water inlet (additional backflow protection may be required by local code), a 1-1/2" discharge, and an adjustable stainless hose clamp for mounting. cUPC listed (IAPMO PS 119). Rated 130°F max fluid temperature. Requires an uninterrupted water source — will not operate during a power outage if your main water supply relies on a well pump. Minimum recommended pit diameter 18". Includes Liberty's SJ10A alarm: a compact pre-mounted float switch sensor, a 120V wall-mount alarm unit (Model ALM-P1) with an 86 dB audio alarm, a super-bright LED alarm ring, a 9-volt battery backup, Silence/Test buttons, and auxiliary contacts for connection to other home security systems.
