The Liberty S38-2 is a 1/3 HP S30-Series Builders Series submersible sump pump. Designed to handle common problem areas in new home construction, with larger clearances around a thermoplastic vortex-style impeller for better solids and debris handling, and higher intake screening (vs. bottom-suction designs) that helps keep debris out of the pump. It has a rugged, quiet, oil-filled, thermally protected PSC motor, dual permanently lubricated ball bearings, a cast iron motor plate with water-directed flow for improved cooling, a stainless steel rotor shaft and fasteners, and a bi-directional dual-lip shaft seal. 1/4" solids handling, 1-1/2" NPT discharge, 25' shut-off head. Wired for 115V at 6.5A, with a 25' power cord and a wide-angle float switch with a piggyback (series) plug (turn-on 11-3/4", turn-off 3-1/2"). Rated 140°F. Shipping weight approximately 17 lb.
