The LSG204M-3 is a Liberty 2 HP LSG200-Series Omnivore grinder pump. Built for commercial and residential sewage applications needing serious solids-handling — individual or grouped homes, motels, schools, shopping centers, lakefront developments, and high-pressure sewage systems. Its V-Slice cutter (440 stainless steel hardened to 58 Rockwell C, up to 108 alternated cuts per revolution, with a recessed cutter bolt and exclusion cleanout slots) shears solids before a 316 stainless steel impeller with back vanes and a spiraled bottom plate pushes them out a 1-1/4" horizontal FNPT discharge, in a clog-free volute. It has a one-piece unibody cast iron housing, a 300-series stainless rotor shaft, stainless fasteners, dual mechanical seals (a graphite-impregnated silicon carbide upper seal, Viton double-lip lower seal), a solid-state starting circuit, and an oil-filled motor (Class B winding insulation; 3-phase models need a properly sized control panel).
