The CV2N1 is a Liberty check valve — an economy check valve with an ABS body and rubber slip connections secured with hose clamps, for vertical or horizontal installation. Rated 15 PSI at 104°F. A check valve on the pump discharge stops the water standing in the riser pipe from draining back into the basin when the pump shuts off, so each cycle is not re-pumping the same water.
