The Liberty 457 is a 1/2 HP 450-Series submersible sump pump. A deep-finned, powder coated aluminum motor housing gives over 200% more cooling capacity than cast iron equivalents, paired with an energy-saving motor design that cuts electrical usage by up to 40%. Its vortex-style, high-temp engineered thermoplastic impeller passes solids without clogging. It has a stainless steel rotor shaft, stainless fasteners, an engineered double-lip mechanical shaft seal with stainless steel springs, permanently lubricated upper and lower ball bearings, and an oil-filled, hermetically sealed motor with thermal overload protection. 1-1/2" discharge, 3/8" solids handling. Wired for single-phase power at 115V, with a 10' SJTW quick-connect power cord and a Vertical Magnetic Float switch, which operates in a 10" diameter sump. Minimum sump diameter 14" (10" on the 457). Rated 140°F intermittent / 104°F continuous duty. Shipping weight approximately 13 lb.
