Liberty's 283 is a 1/2 HP 280-Series cast iron submersible sump/effluent pump. A one-piece Uni-Body cast iron housing (Class 25) with a stainless steel rotor shaft, stainless hardware, a stainless removable bottom screen, permanently lubricated upper and lower ball bearings, and a carbon ceramic mechanical shaft seal. The oil-filled, hermetically sealed PSC motor has thermal overload protection, and the quick-connect power cord can be replaced without breaking the motor seal. 1-1/2" discharge, 3/4" solids handling. Wired for single-phase power at 115V, with a 10' cord and a wide-angle float switch with a quick-connect piggyback plug, adjustable by tethering it to the discharge pipe or another mounting point. Rated for 140°F intermittent / 104°F continuous duty fluid temperature. Shipping weight approximately 31 lb.
