Liberty's 257HV-2 is a 1/3 HP 250-Series submersible sump pump. A rugged, heavy-duty cast iron pump with a powder coat finish, built around a one-piece cast body that eliminates the motor-housing seal ring — one of Liberty's energy-saving models, with a motor design that cuts electrical usage by up to 40%. It has a vortex-style impeller, stainless steel hardware and rotor shaft, permanently sealed and lubricated ball bearings, an engineered double-lip mechanical shaft seal, and a quick-connect power cord that can be replaced without breaking the motor seal. 1-1/2" discharge, 1/2" solids handling. Wired for single-phase power at 230V, with a 25' cord and a Vertical Magnetic Float switch. Rated for 140°F intermittent / 104°F continuous duty fluid temperature. Shipping weight approximately 22 lb.
