Liberty's 247-2 is a 1/4 HP 240-Series cast iron submersible sump pump. Built around a one-piece UNI-BODY cast iron casting that eliminates the lower motor seal ring other pumps rely on. Mid-mounted peripheral-port inlets keep it from sucking debris off the bottom, feeding an internally mounted 304 stainless steel intake plate and an 8-vane, glass-reinforced thermoplastic non-clog impeller. It has a stainless steel rotor shaft, stainless fasteners, permanently lubricated bearings, and a hermetically sealed, oil-filled motor with thermal overload protection — an energy-saving design that cuts electrical usage by up to 40%. The quick-connect power cord can be replaced without breaking the motor seal. 1-1/2" discharge, 1/4" solids handling. Wired for single-phase power at 115V, with a 25' cord and a Vertical Magnetic Float switch, which operates in a 10" diameter sump. Rated 104°F continuous / 140°F intermittent duty.
