The Kohler K-7159-CP is a 1-1/2" pop-up bath drain in polished chrome, intended for freestanding baths. It covers both above-floor and through-the-floor installations, which is the awkward part of a freestanding tub: depending on the room, the waste either drops straight down through the floor or has to be run above it and concealed behind the tub skirt. Having one drain rated for both means the same part can be specified before the final floor build-up is settled.
