A strobe power loss alarm for a Hot Box enclosure. A heated enclosure protects the equipment inside from freezing, but only while it has power — and a heater that has lost its supply in a cold snap gives no outward sign until something bursts. The strobe makes that failure visible from outside, so it is noticed before the backflow preventer or piping inside is damaged.
