Description

A red cage guard for a fire sprinkler head. It fits over the head to shield it from knocks in places where something is likely to hit it — parking garages, warehouse aisles, plant rooms, gyms and storage areas. That matters more than it sounds: a sprinkler head that is struck can discharge and flood the space, and guards are commonly required by the authority having jurisdiction wherever heads are exposed to damage.
