Description

An AGC air gap fitting for a 909 series backflow preventer. A reduced pressure zone assembly is designed to dump water out of its relief port when it needs to, and that discharge cannot be piped solidly into a drain — doing so creates the cross-connection the assembly exists to prevent. The air gap fitting sits under the relief port and provides the required physical break while still catching the discharge and directing it to the drain.
