Description

A 4" x 2" service weight cast iron sanitary tee, domestic manufacture. It takes a 2" branch into a 4" stack, with the curved branch turning the flow downward. Orientation matters as much as the fitting: a sanitary tee is for a horizontal branch entering a vertical run, and using one to join two horizontal runs works against the flow.
