A 4" gripper ring for a Star-Grip joint restraint, for C900 and IPS pipe. Joint restraint is the alternative to concrete thrust blocks: the ring grips the pipe so the joint holds itself against the thrust at a bend or a cap. That matters where there is no room to pour a block, or where the soil is too poor to bear against.
