Description

A 3 inch adapter joining schedule 40 brass pipe to copper tube. The unthreaded sweat end avoids having to cut a thread on heavy brass pipe in place, which at 3 inch is a serious job requiring the run to be taken out and machined. Being able to solder the connection instead is often what makes a tie-in to existing brass practical at all.
