Description

A 3/8" zinc-plated hex nut, the standard fastener size for pipe hanger rod. It is what secures a clevis or ring hanger onto the rod and sets the height of the pipe, and it is normally used in pairs so the second nut locks the first and stops the setting drifting. Zinc plating gives basic corrosion resistance for indoor and plant room use.
