Description

A 3/8" x 1" vertical Sammy screw for metal. Same principle as the timber version - it leaves a threaded boss that hanger rod screws into - but with a thread cut for fixing into structural steel rather than wood. Using the wood version in steel, or the reverse, is the usual mistake: neither holds properly in the wrong base material.
