Description

A 3/8" water hammer arrestor. Absorbs the pressure spike when a quick-closing valve — a washing machine or dishwasher solenoid, or a lever tap — stops the flow abruptly. Built to ANSI/ASSE 1010 with a sealed piston and gas chamber, so unlike a site-made capped air chamber it does not lose its air and stop working. Fit it close to the offending valve and leave it accessible.
