A 3/4" PEX × 1/2" sweat adapter. Transitions barbed PEX tubing — secured with a crimp ring or cinch clamp — to soldered copper, with a solder cup that receives copper tube. It connects to PEX tubing with the crimp, clamp or expansion method the fitting is designed for; the joint is mechanical, with no solvent, flux or open flame.
