Description
A 3/4" PVC male adapter — transitions from solvent-weld PVC to male threaded pipe. PVC DWV (drain-waste-vent) fitting conforming to ASTM D2665 and NSF/ANSI 14, material per ASTM D1784. Threaded PVC connections are sealed with PTFE tape, not with a pipe compound unless it is rated for plastic, and tightened by hand plus a turn - overtightening cracks the fitting.
