Description

A 3/4" dielectric union. The 3/4" size is the common connection at a domestic water heater, which is exactly where dissimilar metals meet - copper pipework onto a steel tank tapping. Without the insulating separation the steel corrodes at the joint, and the failure appears at the heater connection rather than in the pipe.
