Description

A step drill covering 3/16" to 7/8" in one bit. It replaces a whole set for thin material: each step cuts a larger hole than the last, so a single bit drills and enlarges to whatever size is needed, and the stepped cutting edge leaves a far cleaner hole in sheet metal than a twist bit, which grabs and tears. Used for cabinet panels, enclosures, ducting and sheet steel — not for drilling deep into solid material.
