Description

A 2-1/2" plastic cap for a fire hose valve. It keeps dirt, insects and debris out of the valve threads between inspections, so the connection is clean and serviceable when the fire department needs it. A plastic cap also comes off easily under a spanner rather than seizing on, which is the whole point - nobody should be fighting a corroded cap during a callout.
