A 2" x 1-1/2" grooved-end x threaded reducer for stepping down pipe size in a grooved piping system. Ductile iron housing per ASTM A536, grooved joint per AWWA C606. Grooved-end pipe and fittings join with a coupling that engages a groove rolled or cut into the pipe end, so the joint is made with bolts rather than welding or threading.
