Description

A 2" IPS anodeless meter riser. The riser is the transition where a buried plastic gas main comes up out of the ground and turns into the steel connection at the meter. It matters because that transition is the most vulnerable point in the service — exposed to weather, physical damage and soil movement — so it is made as a purpose-built factory assembly rather than fabricated on site.
