Description

A 2" copper cap. Two-inch copper is a main or a riser, and capping one is usually part of phased work - a section isolated and closed while the rest of the building stays in service. Make sure the line is genuinely drained before soldering: residual water in a 2" pipe will boil and blow the joint open before the solder takes.
