Description

2" brass sweat flange. Solders onto copper tube and bolts to a flanged pump, valve or piece of equipment, so the unit can be unbolted for service without cutting the pipe. It is joined by soldering: clean the tube end and the fitting cup, apply flux, heat the fitting and draw lead-free solder into the joint, where capillary action carries it around.
