Description

A 1/4" toggle bolt with butterfly wings. The wings fold to pass through the hole then spring open behind the board, spreading the load across the back face rather than relying on the material in the hole. That is what makes it far stronger than a plug in plasterboard. The trade-off is that it cannot be refitted: withdraw the bolt and the butterfly drops into the cavity.
