Description

A 1/2" feed water regulator. It is the automatic fill for a closed heating system, admitting water from the mains when system pressure falls below its setting and shutting off once the system is back up to pressure. Watch how often it operates: a regulator that keeps feeding is telling you the system is losing water, and constant fresh make-up brings oxygen and scale into the boiler.
